UI Overview
Genie is a FileMaker-focused AI workspace with controls for context capture, mode switching, generation, review, execution, and project guidance in Settings.
Accessing the interface
Section titled “Accessing the interface”- Script Workspace: Use the AI button in the Script Workspace toolbar.
- Mac Menu Bar and Dock Access: Restore or open Genie quickly from macOS controls.
- Shortcut, if configured: Bring Genie to front.

At the composer level, Genie distinguishes between:
- Live Script Workspace context from Add Selection.
- Metadata/script badges added from Metadata Explorer.
- File badges added from the paperclip.
Calculation Quick AI is not part of the composer. It appears in FileMaker’s Specify Calculation dialog and uses a narrow calculation context to insert one draft expression for review.
