Header and Tool Belt
The top region of Genie contains persistent controls for session management, project state, activation access, and context capture.

Header Controls
Section titled “Header Controls”The header houses essential global information and primary navigation triggers.

| Model indicator | Displays the active AI model and provider label. |
| Project chip | Shows the current file/project state and opens Project Rules. |
| Support | Opens the built-in support ticket flow. |
| History | Toggles the Conversation Panel. |
| Settings | Opens the Settings Modal. |
| License banner | Shows activation or grace state when Genie needs to surface product access status. See Licensing and Activation. |
Leave the project unlocked for normal automatic switching. Lock it only when you need Genie to stay attached to one FileMaker file.
Tool Belt Controls
Section titled “Tool Belt Controls”Located just below the header, the tool belt provides quick access to context gathering and session controls.

| Add Scripts | Attaches script objects from all open Script Workspace tabs as separate context badges. |
| Add Selection | Captures live Script Workspace context for the current chat. If no multi-line range is selected, Genie uses the current script. |
| Clear Context | Removes captured script/snippet context from the current session. |
| New Chat | Resets the session and conversation-scoped context. |
| Project | Opens Project Rules for the active file. |
| Metadata Explorer | Opens or closes the right metadata panel. |
