Header and Tool Belt
The top region of Genie contains persistent controls for session management, activation access, context capture, Workbench, metadata, and Settings.

Header Controls
Section titled “Header Controls”The header houses essential global information and primary navigation triggers.

| Model indicator | Displays the active AI model and provider label. |
| Support | Opens the built-in support ticket flow. |
| History | Toggles the Conversation Panel. |
| Settings | Opens the Settings Modal. |
| License banner | Shows activation, grace, locked, or recovery state when Genie needs to surface product access status. The banner links to Settings General. See Licensing and Activation. |
Project name, description, rules, and guidance overrides now live in Settings > Personalization.
Tool Belt Controls
Section titled “Tool Belt Controls”Located just below the header, the tool belt provides quick access to context gathering and session controls.

| Add Selection | Captures selected Script Workspace lines through the clipboard, or the active script when no multi-line range is selected. |
| New Chat | Resets the session and conversation-scoped context. |
| Workbench | Opens staged prompts submitted by Local MCP clients and IDE agents. |
| Metadata Explorer | Opens or closes the right metadata panel for tables, fields, relationships, layouts, scripts, value lists, and custom functions. |
Add Scripts, Clear Context, and the separate Project Rules toolbar/modal surface were removed in Build 53. Use Metadata Explorer to add known scripts or schema context, remove individual badges when context is stale, and configure project guidance in Settings.
